the location is superb, just a short walk to major attractions. staff were friendly and made my stay enjoyable. it exceeded my expectations for a quick stop, especially compared to my last stay in london that was a letdown....  

I stayed for a night and the comfy bed was a pleasant surprise! The clean bathroom was well done, and there were no issues with noise during the night. I'd definitely stay here again!

I found the hotel's retro style charming, with tidy rooms and easy access for seniors, making my stay quite pleasant. The staff were helpful and accommodating, which added to my positive experience during my time there....  

This place suits me perfectly with 24-hour reception, express check-in/out, and flat-screen TV. The staff even helped me find my forgotten earphones during my first stay. Definitely coming back for a holiday!...

Rooms need thorough cleaning!!! Lacking basic amenities like tea-making equipment!!! Wi-Fi only available in the lobby makes working impossible!!! Furniture feels like it belongs in a rubbish tip!!! Stairs are a safety hazard with missing pieces!!!

Decent location near key areas. Room size offers a straightforward, no-frills approach to lodgings, allowing for a quick overnight stay without distractions.

Parking is not available on site, which can be a hassle especially for those driving in. No tea or coffee facilities in the room lead to some discomfort for those needing that morning boost. The shower experience is a gamble, sometimes fluctuating in temperature, which can be a bit annoying during a typical stay. The ambient noise from the street might be bothersome to light sleepers. it feels more like a budget hostel than a hotel in terms of comfort and amenities.

The bed was comfortable, but cleanliness was a major concern during my stay.

Consider bringing a travel kettle, as in-room tea/coffee facilities are not provided.

We had a lovely time exploring the nearby British Museum, which was just blocks away. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and made us feel right at home, and we appreciated being able to store our bags after checking out....  

Solo traveler’s decent choice

The bed was so comfy, slept like a baby, and the staff were super helpful, even moved me to a better room. Location is top notch -- close to the theatre district without all the chaos.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but acceptable given the circumstances.

Affordable with a great location!

Clean facilities made my experience enjoyable, and the electric kettle in my room was a nice touch, albeit I had to bring my own cups. The location is fantastic for exploring nearby attractions, especially with convenient stores within walking distance. the room felt cramped and lacked essential items like a proper kettle. Customer service could be improved, as I noticed some staff interactions were lacking in warmth.

Great location but needs major improvements

I stayed in a double room for 8 nights, and the location was its strongest selling point, just a stone's throw from the British Museum and other attractions. The room itself was fairly basic, which I expected for the price, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness and the shabby decor. While the bed was comfortable, the shared bathrooms left much to be desired, with mould and poor upkeep. Improvements in cleaning and maintenance would make a significant difference in enhancing guests' experiences.

I just stayed in a Single Room with Shared Bathroom. The room was pretty outdated and could have used a good clean. The shared bathroom wasn't the best either. it felt a bit grimy. At least the receptionist was friendly and check-in was quick. The location is really good, though! Right near the action, but that's about it for the positives.
